Paul Ritch

Paul is a global agrifood system strategist who uses systems thinking for high-leverage impact.

About Paul

Paul Ritch is an international food system strategist and environmentalist. He advises and works with startups, policymakers, NGOs, and corporates globally on how to strategically and rapidly transform our broken food system into one that is beneficial for the climate, ecosystems, farmers, and consumers.

Paul does private strategy consulting, and he previously was a strategy director at a major management consultancy, where he advised international clients and developed widely read thought leadership content around sustainable food production. Paul also has taken significant time to vagabond the world nomadically, where he hitchhiked, rode night trains, couchsurfed, and shared colectivos in search of the world’s most raw experiences and inconvenient truths. Between his experiences with the world’s most powerful stakeholders and with our planet’s most powerless communities, Paul has highly unique perspectives on how we can leverage systems thinking in order to truly make net-positive, sustainable, and equitable food system change.

Outside of work, you can usually find Paul experimenting in the kitchen, riding his bike or a train, camping in nature, or watching the Green Bay Packers. Born and raised just outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA), he lives in Berlin, Germany.
