After started her career teaching European languages, she pivoted to health and nutrition research. As part of the Obesity Policy Research Unit at the Centre for Food Policy, she conducted in-depth research into food environments, weight management and infant feeding to provide policy insights to the Department of Health and Social Care. Kimberley also owned her own nutrition consultancy for three years, myth busting on social media in her spare time. Currently she leads a programme of prevention policy research at Cancer Research UK to inform and enhance approaches to address preventable causes of cancer.
